In this photo I took during my walk in the village, a rope fastens the fine wires together. It can be cut with scissors to provide access. A simple solution but also a delicate bond that connects the two strong wires, an intervention that surrounds a private property within the public sphere. “White ribbon” questions the relationship between two objects and their purpose, while simultaneously investigating the purpose of “haphazard” interventions in public space.
