Porcelain Skies

Porcelain Skies is a collaborative work by Merve Ünsal and Didem Erbaş, focusing on the multiplicity of gaze in the form of observation and the impossibility of expressing violence. Inspired by a line from Etel Adnan’s 1989 poem The Arab Apocalypse, their work offers an approach to what artworks can do if verbal tools lose their function in describing intersecting disasters.
